Coach: Dave Gomez
Going into his second year as CCHS wrestling coach, this will be the fifth year of the program. Last season CCHS had its first ever state placer (Derek Brite, 6th place). Dave has coached at Hedrick Middle School and North Medford High School in numerous sports. He is a pastor at Medford Friends Church and a group counselor at Juvenile Detention Community Justice. One of his coaching highlights is assisting 2004 Olympic Wrestling Coach Dan Russell at Fellowship of Christian Athletes camp at the University of the Pacific. Dave holds a degree in Biblical Studies and is married with a 1 year old son. The message that he wants our men to know and live out comes from Colossians 3:23 "Whatever you do work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men," CCHS Wrestling team desires to build men who are leaders in the community, classroom, and on the wrestling mats. Come and be a part of the tradition!
"Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails." Proverbs 19:21 NIV
