 BAND
The Cascade High School band program is charged and ready for the school year! New director, Mr. Michael Reimer, has added a new dimension to the band program with a new jazz band and pep band joining the strong symphonic band program already in place.
Come and hear the Cascade Pep Band energize the team and fans at home football and basketball games this season. The band will play well known tunes that create an exciting and fun atmosphere for all ages. The game will take on a whole new dimension with a live pep band taking the stage!
The Cascade Jazz Band is a new and exciting avenue in which band members will get a chance to improvise in Blues, Funk, and Swing styles. Toes will be tapping and smiles will abound for all who attend the Cascade Jazz Band performances.
The Cascade Symphonic Band follows a strong tradition of excellence in performance and concert band literature. Performers will take part in Christmas and Spring concerts and a tour to Kirkland, WA for the annual ACSI band festival in March. Precision, discipline, and musicianship define the Cascade Symphonic Band.

CHOIR
The Cascade choirs are going strong again this year with over 90 singers involved in the program! There are 3 choirs: The Cascade Singers – a select audition group that meets in the mornings before school, the Chorale, another audition group, and the Concert Choir, this year a great group of freshmen and sophomores.
They are preparing for their first performances at the Thanksgiving Chapel on Wednesday, November 25th, from 11:30-12:30 a.m. Parents are welcome to come to this free worship and praise concert! Soloists will be featured from each group along with our student accompanists and percussionists.
Then the groups will be singing in the community throughout December and culminating with our Christmas Program along with the Band to present “All Glory and Praise to God” on Monday night, Dec. 14th at 7 p.m. and again in chapel the next morning. The public is invited.
The choirs also participate singing in the Pro-Life Rally, in local festival competitions, at our ACSI Choir Festival in Seattle, and in the 3 nights of “Showtime,” April 29, 20, and May 1.
This is the 17th year of directing choirs at Cascade for Mrs. Lucy Milojevich, and she is excited about the growth in numbers, enthusiasm, and excellence.
